Accessibility Statement

This is the official accessibility statement for Braillemusic.

Standards compliance

  1. The CSS has been validated through the online test suite available at http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/.
  2. All pages have passed the HTML validation test available at http://validator.w3.org/.
  3. All pages are Section 508 compliant, complying with all of the U.S. Federal Government Section 508 Guidelines.
  4. All pages are Cynthia approved, complying with all accessibility guidelines.
The online validator at points 3 and 4 can't measure every single aspect of a web page; other principles are intentionally vague and can't be tested either. I reviewed the guidelines and believe all of them are respected.

Links

  1. Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article).
  2. Links are written to make sense out of context.

Images

  1. All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes.

Visual design

  1. This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout.
  2. This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers.
  3. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
